NPR recently published a news story on the topic of sleep disorders,zooming in on one particular disorder that is very common: obstructive sleep apnea. Over 50 million adults in the United States have a sleep disorder such as insomnia, restless leg syndrome, or sleep apnea. It is estimated that 22 million Americans suffer from sleep apnea, with 80% of those cases being mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) undiagnosed. Check out what NPR discovered about OSA.
